God's Rainbow
On Tuesday nights I go to a college age bible study with a few members of Cameron's, my girlfriend, church. Currently we are going through Genesis and each week 1 or 2 people are assigned a few chapters and they lead the discussion for that week. Tonight it was mine and Cameron's turn to lead the bible study and we had to go over Genesis 8 and 9, which go over Noah's ark, the flood, and God's covenant with us that he will never destroy the earth again with a flood that he shows us by sending us his rainbow.
The bible study, in my opinion, went great! But what's phenomenal is how God has spoken to me today.
It is the end of October and, even in Arizona, things should be starting to cool down. But they aren't!! It is still incredibly hot! It's terrible when I have to walk to and from school to get to my classes in the daytime. It's unbearable! But what do I get as I'm hardly moving in rush hour traffic heading to tonight bible study? Rain! So on my way to give a lesson about the flood and the rainbow and God gives me rain and a rainbow!!
Then, after the bible study, I'm tired and I'm driving home and listening to Kings of Leon play on the radio. And I'm just singing, "SOME ONE LIKE MEEEE! OOooooOOo WOOooOOAAaaaAHHh!" and I look directly to the left... and there is a white van driving next to me with the word "Rainbow" printed onto the side and back! Nothing else!
This was far too humbling and something I just had to share.!
