The Proposal
Hello World!!
On Tuesday, December 20th I proposed to the love of my life, Cameron! I have never been so happy in my entire life! Being engaged is quite the feeling! I can't believe that, soon, this beautiful girl will be my wife! And by soon I mean pretty far away... The current plan is that we will have the wedding after we are both done with college, so probably in 2 years.
I am so thankful for all the friends and family that have supported us so far and are so happy for us!
And incase you haven't already heard the story of how it went down, this is what happened:
I tricked Cameron into going with me to my parents saying that my family was having a nice Christmas dinner. We were just hanging out and talking, waiting for the food to be ready, and secretly waiting for her family to let me know that they arrived at the house. When they did, I had them text me and then I gave my mom the signal to let her know that they were waiting in the garage and one by one everyone in the room started to disappear! It couldn’t have happened more perfectly! She was left so confused wondering where everyone vanished too. I got down on one knee and pulled out the ring. She started to cry and couldn't believe it. I asked her to marry me and when she said yes everyone, including her family that she didn't know was even there, came back into the living room from the garage, each with a small bouquet of different colored roses to give to her.
She was so shocked! I could not have gone down more perfectly! I could not be happier to be engaged to this woman! I love her so much!
